Polish Network of Partnership Groups

The Polish Network of Partnership Groups was officially established the 28 February 2005 during the 2nd National Assembly of Partnership Groups taking place in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski. The network is a nation-wide structure of cooperation between local partnerships keeping specific organizational standards.

Today, the National Network consists of 22 Partnership Groups (12 members and 10 candidates), uniting all together about 600 local partners (200 not-for-profit organizations, 300 public institutions and 100 businesses). They operate mainly in rural areas, especially in regions of poor socio-economic circumstances.

The National Network of Partnership Groups was established in order to:

  • support Partnership Groups (through trainings, consulting, common fundraising, grant-giving to local initiatives, etc.);
  • enable an exchange of knowledge and experience between Partnership Groups in Poland;
  • undertake common programmes and projects on a cross-regional as well as national level;
  • organize a joint promotion of partnership initiatives;
  • co-operate with state agencies as well as foreign institutions and partnership networks.
