VIIth National Conference of Partnership Groups took place on 7-9 June 2010 in Arłamów in Bieszczady. This most important event for partnership groups associated in National Network of Partnership Groups was hosted by “Green Bieszczady” Partnership Group.
The subject of this year conference was Partnership Academy, the project that is being realised by the National Network of Partnership Groups. The project is the frame for several actions connected with local partnerships: a study on Polish local partnership or a course called „Partnership Academy”.

The conference was opened by Przemysław Oładawkowski, coordinator of “Green Bieszczady” Partnership Group and the president of the Bieszczadzka Foundation. He described the context of actions lead by his group in Bieszczady. It was a good introduction into the subjects discussed during the conference and into the study visit during which the participants could explore the initiatives of “Green Bieszczady”.

During the following part of the conference Barbara Kazior, the coordinator of the programme "Partnership Groups" summarized five years of functioning of the National Network of Partnership Groups. Anna Jarzębska from the Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation presented the results of the study about the Polish partnership Groups. Elena Korf from British organization “The Partnering Initiative” made a presentation about the cooperation between business and ngo sector.
In the afternoon we discussed the initiatives for local development that are realized on Greenways. A few interesting presentations were made by people working on this programme. The last point of the meeting was a panel discussion entitled “The development of sustainable tourisme. How to use a partnership effectively?” lead by Rafał Serafin, the director of Polish Environnemental Partnership Foundation.
The last day of the conference, as usual, we spent on a study visit in the most interesting spots of “Green Bieszczady” Partnership Group.
