The Festival of Honey and Wine of Lower Silesia was the last of 23 events of Local Partnership Days in Poland. This event is the opportunity to see, feel, taste and touch the every day activities of Partnership Groups.
This year’s Local
Partnership Days were the second edition of the series of events organized by
each partnership group and promoted under the single name by the Foundation
Partnership for Environnement and Partnership Groups. We had the opportunity to
participate in demonstrations of regional crafts, film and photo shows from
Greenways, tastings of local products and contests with prizes. The main event
of this year’s edition was the festival “The Flavors of Green Tracks”, that
took place on 11-12 of September 2009 on Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego Market in Krakow. During the festival 10 partnership groups from
all over Poland
promoted the environnment friendly tourisme, the local products and Greenways.
The Friday evening of 11
September, during the Feast of the Regions in Cracovian restaurant Chimera, we
had the chance to participate in a special journey all over Poland. The
representatives of Partnership Groups introduced us to their regions by letting
us taste the local delicacies and talking about outrageous places.
