The conclusions from the XVIIIth Meeting of Coordinators of Partnership Groups (Krakow, 1.03.2010)

The XVIIIth Meeting of Coordinators of Partnership Groups took place in the Brama Hostel in Cracow on 1^st March 2010. The Coordinators of 16 Partnership Groups gathered to discuss the projects of the National Network of Partnership Groups for 2010:

• VIIth National Reunion of Partnership Groups that will take place on 21-22 May. The reunion will be hosted by the “Green Bieszczady” Partnership. The theme of the VIIth National Reunion of Partnership Groups will be the social models of protection of the natural heritage.
• Partnership Academy – a new training programme realized by the Foundation Partnership for Environement, Partnership Groups and the Partnering Initiative from the United Kingdom. Three editions of the Academy will take place this year. The recruitment for the 1^st edition, that will take place from April to June this year, lasts until the end of March.
• The Local Partnership Days - despite the lack of financing for this initiative this year, the Partnership Groups will hold local events in their regions. There are also events that, like other years, will take place in Cracow: the Feast of the Regions and the fair.  
• “Decydujmy razem” (Let’s decide togheter) – the project realized between 2010-2014 by the Ministry of Regional Development and five non-governmental organizations including the Foundation Partnership for Sustainable Development. The objective of the project is to create and to test the methodology of the reinforcement of civic participation in local policy making process in communes.
• The Contest for the Best Group, the Best Animator of Local Partnership and the Best Project of 2009. This year, we will test the new formula of the contest for the Project of the Year 2009. Every group will run an internal contest for the project and then the winners will participate in the national competition.
• Trainings for Partnership Groups. We are planning to organize the training in the “Miracle on the Vistula” Partnership about the entrepreneurship and in the in “Crown of South Cracow” Partnership about the local product.
